Job Description

We are looking for a full time

FACILITIES MANAGER

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

This will be a split shift working from 7am to 6pm with a longer break in the middle of the day.

Our Academy opened in January 2014 in Partnership with the Hastings Academies Trust, the main sponsor being the University of Brighton. This is an exciting opportunity for a positive, flexible individual with a can do attitude to work in our busy Academy to ensure that our site is a safe, pleasant environment for children, families and staff.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
  • TO OVERSEE THE CARE, MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND SERVICING OF
ACADEMY BUILDINGS, GROUNDS AND VEHICLES.

• TO MAINTAIN A CLEAN, SAFE, HYGENIC AND SECURE SITE.

• TO EFFECTIVELY LEAD AND MANAGE STAFF, AND MONITOR CONTRACTS

AND BUDGETS FOR BUILDING AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE, AND FM

SUPPLIES.

Salary: SS Grade 5 – 7, Point 11 – 19 £16,348 – £20, 587

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
