JOB This job would give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
Controlling accounts XD processes to ensure accurate completion in accordance with
timetables
Reviewing accounts in SORP format with supporting schedules
Compiling review points for fund accountants and ensuring these are resolved in the
correct manner
Reviewing and preparing corporation tax and income tax computations for insertion in
the accounts and submission to Inland Revenue
Carrying out day to day planning and control of accounts team workload
Preparing accounts in SORP format with supporting schedules
Proof reading accounts
Acting as liaison point with auditors, trustees and clients
Person Specification
YOU You will be skilled and/or qualified in the following areas:
End to end understanding of fund administration including accounting and pricing
Completing and reviewing financial statements (SORP) for all funds
Demonstrating a full understanding of accounting and taxation regulations and SORP for
collective funds including currently impacting changes
Managing the day to day workflow of senior and fund accountants
Ideally an Accountancy or business degree
Studying toward professional qualification and/or IAQ qualification
