Senior Library Assistant, Cataloguing
Customers are at the centre of all our library and information services. We are looking for someone with a strong customer focus who can lead by example and is able to motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service. A friendly, approachable and calm manner is essential to help deliver a high level of customer care. You must be patient and diplomatic taking a positive and fair approach to all members of the community. We are seeking a well-motivated person with excellent communication skills to work within our Bibliographic Services Team. You will need good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work to ensure the smooth running of the team. You will be keen to develop and improve services. You will be computer literate with the ability to use ICT systems effectively and efficiently. You must be able to use your own initiative and work effectively within a team.
Hours of work: 18.5 hours per weekWorking pattern: Part-timeFixed term until 31 March 2015

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
