An opportunity has arisen within our Hardware Pricing Department, based at our premises in Witham St Hughs. You will work within a small team that is responsible for all internal pricing for hardware and software products, in addition you will provide core pricing to our sales force, purchasing teams and other internal teams. .
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
To create & maintain all sales codes using internal systems.
Analyse pricing across the manufacturers based on the specification of a product and collate and present the findings.
Liaising with the manufacturers and distributors to obtain special pricing costs for large deals and tenders.
To ensure that the launch of new and the discontinuation of old products are managed and communicated effectively.
To liaise and assist with any issues on pricing or contract bands.
Creating bespoke software quotes by liaising with manufacturers and internal departments.
To review pricing received from our vendors and discuss or negotiate any queries.
To update the Danwood Pricing system to accurately show current information including service. costing and to update where applicable, the processes and procedures for internal systems.
Liaise with all internal departments, including branches, marketing, and vendor management etc.
Communicate and distribute all information to branches and divisions as required.
Skills required:
You will be a highly organised individual with an enthusiastic, proactive approach to work and excellent time management. With good attention to detail, you will be able to communicate to a high standard at all levels, both internally and externally. You will be confident of working well within in a team environment as well as individually. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel at Intermediate level is essential for this role.
