BN8 5Whats involved with
this role: To
administer Educational Optional Insurance Processes and to process claims
relating to Property, Education, Motor, Education and miscellaneous insurance.To process a wide range of non liability claims relating to
Property, Education, Motor and miscellaneous insurance.To administer non liability claims processes for Departments and
Schools providing advice and guidance where appropriate.To liaise with external service providers to facilitate the administration
of the claim process.Negotiate with external agencies e.g. third party insurers, loss
adjusters or engineers over the recovery and settlement of claims costs. Process claim payments received from the insurance company and
payments made from the internal insurance fund.Produce Monthly management Information for Insurance Section and
key reporting as and when required, investigate significant variances.To report on outstanding claims information by departments in
order to monitor/ensure Public Liability claims are progressed within strict
legal protocol timeframes.To administer Contractors top up scheme, including liaising with
schools and external contractors and offering advice and guidance where
required.To identify risks and provide risk advice to Schools taking into
account current claims history and relevant risk data available.To provide advice on all non liability insurance and risk issues
to Schools and departments as appropriate.To support the Liability Team in loading new claims during peak
work flow, as required.To undertake administrative duties as and when required.N.B. If, when replying, you fail to quote
