A new opportunity exists within one of the world’s most well known and established Payments Services company for a creative Strategic Pricing Manager with a proven track record. This role requires significant appreciation of: the payments market domestically and internationally; the changing business models, competitive initiatives and regulatory environments, that will impact and provide opportunities to UK & Ireland; companies current global and regional pricing frameworks, value chains and business models, and related objectives in relation to existing and emerging products and services; how to work closely and build correct relationships with domestic UKI teams such as business development, relationship management, legal and finance, to get input from and provide advice to as necessary; building appropriate cross functional collaboration with international Pricing teams to gain input, buy-in and where appropriate adoption of the UK pricing and economic initiatives, conversely to input and where appropriate adopt international pricing initiatives; to work in close collaboration with the international interchange teams to give input and implement locally the recommendation, decisions from the region. Accountabilities (but not limited to): be the ‘go to’ person and take leadership on the company’s strategic pricing and rule sets for UKI; develop ‘second to none’ knowledge of environmental and business factors that may impact or create opportunities in relation to pricing interchange; appropriately challenge business models and pricing structures, enabling the business to think beyond its traditional business models and status quo. Requirements: proven track record demonstrating clear business modelling and pricing experience from a payments network or telecommunication network background; able to think strategically and develop a strategic view on services and economics; ability to challenge existing thinking in a constructive and diplomatic manner.
