Solution Architect (Mobile Telecom BSS Systems)
We are currently looking for a Solutions Architect in the BSS and ESS arena for a global telecoms service provider.
The main purpose of this role is to:
Design IT end to end solutions to meet client requirements and ensure these are successfully implemented.
Provide technical Leadership on IT projects, throughout the project life cycle.
Provide consultancy on the future direction of Business (BSS), Enterprise (ESS) and mobile data solutions to existing and future customers.
Ensure that the integrity of the overall architecture is maintained through appropriate solution designs.
Key skills that we will be looking for are:
Excellent customer facing skills and an ability to lead in a hands-on capacity both High-Level and Low-Level Solution Design work.
A background in Solutions Design and Architecture, within the telecoms industry.
Good understanding of Mobile networks: basics of UMTS, CDMA, GPRS and TDM telephony networks
Experience of delivering solution design and architecture on a wide range of BSS platforms (Billing, CRM, self-care, contact centre applications)
