Registered Nurse RGN/RMN - Eastbourne, East Sussex This is a unique opportunity to join this well-established company as a Registered Nurse. Ideally you will be dual-qualified RGN and RMN but single-qualified RGNs and RMNs are also considered. This position is in a nursing home for older people with dementia, and offers palliative care and convalescence. The company has been successful on an international scale and is looking to recruit more nurses due to expansion.
The responsibilities of the role are to: Manage the assessment, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans, ensuring delivery of a high standard of care Involve patients as much as possible with regards to decisions, so as to maximise their independence Administration of medication Supervise junior staff such as Healthcare Assistants Maintain a safe working environment at all times Maintain confidentiality, liaising with third parties such as GPs as necessary Skills required: Experience working with older people, dementia and palliative care Excellent clinical and care standards, including knowledge of CQC standards Able to demonstrate a willingness to continue your learning and development as a nursing professional Strong communication and team-working skills Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a challenging environment Computer literate Successful applicants will have: Relevant qualifications: RGN and/or RMN Up-to-date PIN Right to Work in theUKwithout any restrictions All applicants will be subject to an enhanced CRB and full references check The company invests in training and offers many avenues for career development.
