It is a 6 month contract working in a small team within a plc Head Office in Epsom,supporting two lawyers in a PA/secretarial capacity.
Job Details
Responsibilities
To provide day-to-day PA/secretarial support to two business lawyers (including typing, post, phones, printing, diary management, timesheets, expenses, travel arrangements, filing).
You will be working closely with the other secretaries to ensure the whole department runs smoothly, and phones are always covered.
You will be liaising with other Head Office Departments.
You will provide cover for the other secretaries during absences.
Requirements
Essential
Excellent administrative and organisational skills
Professional telephone manner
Excellent computer and keyboard skills, including knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint
Ability to deal with in-house clients at all levels
Ability to work in small close-knit team
Ability to work on own initiative
Confidentiality and discretion essential
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a secretary
Desirable
Familiarity with legal documents and legal terminology
Good understanding of legal concepts
Personal Skill
Ability to multi-task essential
Needs to be proactive and confident in own ability
Conscientious with high attention to detail
