Toby Reece is currently recruiting a Telemarketer/Customer Services & Sales Support agent to provide support to regional Energy Consultants by generating new business appointments through business to business calls to prospective customers. Based in Burgess Hill Sussex
Assist and support the sales team to create new business opportunities by undertaking various projects and working across the business on customer service tasks.
Hour of work – Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
Starting Salary – £14,000 to £16,000 dependant on experience + commission
KEY AREAS OF WORK
 Liaise with Energy Consultants on communicating with prospects in their area.
 Research companies to identify relevant company ‘gate holders’ and update database.
 Make high volume cold calls to companies from prospect list provided and obtain company information to qualify prospect opportunities. Communicate products and services, before looking to close and book an appointment.
 Update system with all appointments generated.
 Continually manage a prospect customer pipeline, scheduling and honouring future call backs.
 Ensure accuracy of pipeline and clarity of data notes.
 Use email and mail merge to correspond with prospect customers
 Follow up on direct or online marketing campaigns and other marketing leads.
 Call customers to invite them to attend company sales presentations and events.
 Contact existing customers to identify further business opportunities and make an appointment for the appropriate advisor.
 Conduct follow up calls with customers to review and promote customer loyalty.
 Answering incoming enquiries from potential customers.
 Carry out database cleansing, sourcing of data and updating records as required.
 Monitor publication systems (e.g. OJEU used by the public sector), identify opportunities and upload these to the database.
 Provide daily input to the telemarketing team meeting on new opportunities and current leads being worked on.
 Keep up to date with current market knowledge concerning customers, competitors and new business developments.
 Support the business with adhoc sales and customer service tasks and assist the Telesales Manager and Head of Sales with projects as and when required.
