An Apprenticeship is available for a Apprentice to learn the art & skills of organic chocolate making. This opportunity will provide for a rounded knowledge of the business and will include creation, production, stock control, customer service, order taking, packaging, despatch, essential administration and food hygiene. This opportunity will include active participation in Workshops including ‘Chocolate Hen Parties’ and similar ‘Corporate Events’.

The proprietor will provide comprehensive training in all aspects of this specialist trade. A framework of nationally recognised qualifications from the Awarding Body FDQ will be delivered by personal tutors from Campus Training Ltd, a Member of the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink. The vocational qualifications will be augmented by Key or Functional Skills where necessary and also Personal Thinking and Learning Skills and Employment Rights and Responsibilities to provide a framework of training & qualifications that prepares the Apprentice for a successful career.

Learning Provider Description

Campus Training is a Work based Training Provider based in Uckfield in East Sussex. We cover a variety of sectors and specialise in Food Manufacturing, Supporting Teaching and Learning, Business Admin, Customer Service, Distribution and Warehousing and Team Leading Apprenticeships to name a few. We work with learners from the age of 16 – 18 and 19+ and we are happy to discuss funding for your Apprenticeship. Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to gain qualification, earn and wage and progress within your chosen area.

The Apprenticeship team at Campus are highly qualified and will guide you through what is expected of you throughout the entire Apprenticeship process, and will be on hand to answer any questions that you have. They will visit regularly to meet with you and support you so that progress and progression is monitored throughout.

We cover a geographical area from Kent to West Sussex and will be happy to discuss your Apprenticeship with you.

Important Other Information

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices will be met and progress will be reviewed and can be rewarded.

Applicants should be able to produce original certification for their GCSEs and other prior achievements.
