Vacancy details Customer Strategy Analyst Job Description The Customer and Brand Strategy team will be responsible for:

Defining and agreeing the UK customer vision and strategy for next 3 years, identifying where growth will come from and ensuring our plans are attractive, defensible and financially viable
Identifying and developing ways to step change / improve the customer proposition in support of this vision and providing clear direction to the business
Supporting the development of the annual UK marketing and brand plan

Key WL2 accountabilities

Looking externally at future trends and global customer innovation to take learnings for our own proposition
Conducting a range of quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify proposition development opportunities (e.g. category, range, format level) to step change our offer for customers
Support WL3 Strategy Managers to drive our few priority UK initiatives with business leaders by providing robust analytical insights
Conduct broad Diagnostic analyses across market segments, competitors and categories to scope out critical strategic questions and initial hypotheses
Define and source the right information to answer critical strategic questions – both with internal business teams and external agencies – then scope and conduct key analyses
Draw out insights and recommendations for key questions, feed into overall concept development with WL3 Strategy Manager and natural working teams
Support trial design to ensure right metrics are tracked to test and refine concepts
Development opportunity to take increasing ownership for strategic recommendations to build towards Customer Strategy Manager (WL3) role and capabilities

Candidate Profile Behaviours
Proven strong problem solving capability with experience operating in a retail or other-customer facing organization, consulting or financial services environment
Mathematics or analytical background and experience
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Databases; SQL and Visual Basic preferred
Ability to interpret data, spot trends, draw conclusions and make recommendations
Experience of creating, developing or contributing to insight-led customer propositions and brand strategies that step change the customer experience / perception
