We would like to hear from experienced Technical Programme Managers with experience of management and delivery of IT solutions.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team of project management professionals to work across a varied spectrum of industries. The Technology Consulting team advises and assists clients on the set up, deployment, implementation and delivery of complex IT transformation projects.
The successful candidate must understand a client's business and be able to dive deeply into their business issues while applying commercial and technical expertise to deliver projects successfully.
Assignments will vary and will involve providing expert consultancy, mentoring and the formulation of strategy and policies, acting as a "trusted advisor" to clients. Relationships will run from senior board level through to IT and business specialists.

The following skills are required for this role:
Essential skills needed for the role:
Third level educational qualification;
Project management experience in a complex IT environment;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Track record of successful delivery of IT projects using traditional and\or Agile methodologies;
Exposure and experience of all aspects of SDLC;
Ability to work with senior stakeholders, client technical teams and third party suppliers.
The successful candidate must prove their ability to:
Lead large scale IT transformation delivery projects;
Understand client strategy and requirements, ensuring successful delivery into IT solutions;
Define Projects Portfolio including project phasing, overall timescales, Resourcing, costs and directly attributable benefits resulting in the development of the programme plan
Demonstrate ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Work on-site with clients to provide high quality advice and deliverables;
Prepare and manage the Programme quality plan
Establish and manage the Programme Organisation
Prepare / co-ordinate Programme Communication
Demonstrate proficiency in programme and project planning Manage technical teams;
Manage client engagements and ensure that we deliver the best solutions for clients;
Understand and apply best practice risk management approaches;
Clearly convey information to engage senior stakeholders, listening effectively, negotiating with and influencing others;
Actively transfer expertise and knowledge to other consultants;
Take advantage of new opportunities for learning, sharing new knowledge, being intellectually agile and thinking creatively;
Develop and apply a high level of skills, knowledge and standards while staying current with business and industry trends.
Demonstrate leadership, modifying behaviours to work effectively with others, respecting and valuing all people and encouraging different perspectives;
Lead teams of project managers;
Provide and seek meaningful feedback to help others self improve and develop; Support and mentor junior consultants.
