PRODUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER - NE - c30K
This is an exciting job opportunity for an experienced production process / project engineer to work for one of the north east's largest manufacturers.
Responsibilities
Identifying and concluding cost saving / productivity improvement opportunities within the manufacturing processes to correspond with the overall site strategy
Statistical analysis for the determination of future capital investment projects
Compilation and provision of capital justification and application documentation
Compilation and provision of detailed equipment and process specifications
Managing capital investment projects from conception to completion
Project management and support of existing projects (including non capital projects)
Designing processes to deliver process improvements
Completion of projects through the management of internal and external resources
Liaising with suppliers
Acting as first point of contact point for and ensuring successful resolution to all project related issues
The successful candidate will possess:
Degree (HND minimum) in Mechanical Engineering / Process Engineering discipline
Substantive experience in a similar role within a volume manufacturing environment
Project management skills
The ability to interpret and and provide simple Engineering drawings
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrate accuracy & attention to detail
Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, databases)
