Smart Solar Ltd is a leading specialist in solar powered garden products, providing high quality, innovative solar powered items for the garden. They believe strongly in the environmental benefits of solar power, whereby all their solar products use renewable energy from the sun to generate power, so once purchased require no operating costs and minimal maintenance.

As part of their plans for the coming year they are looking to achieve the successful implementation of several new products into their new range.

The role

This opportunity is offered over a period of 12 weeks with the potential for the successful candidate to be offered a permanent role upon completion of the internship.

The host business is looking for a recent graduate to join their team on a Graphic Design placement. Your role will be to design and produce all facets of a new product including packaging, instructions, point of sale, product information sheets, marketing materials, and the updating of the website.

By undertaking this internship you will gain experience of working in a fast-paced environment, develop your design and technical skills and gain an understanding of all aspects of a new product.

Skills required

You will be a recent graduate, having completed a Graphic Design or related degree course.

You will have software skills in order to be able to carry out the creative work, and equally some experience of web design would be a bonus. You must be able to demonstrate your Adobe Suite experience.

In order for your application to be considered it is important that you fully complete the registration process including a strong personal statement along with details of your education, skills and your work experience. By completing a full registration this will allow us to consider you for other roles that might be of interest and allow us to be more proactive in helping you to find quality work experience and perhaps permanent employment.

You will receive a training allowance of £217 a week, free from Tax and National Insurance deductions.
