We are looking for:
A Customer Assistant to join our team in store.
Responsible for ensuring you meet the needs of our customers through fantastic customer service and striving to exceed the customer’s expectations every time.
How do I improve cash profit?
Ensure that all stock is rotated and displayed at the correct price at all times by ensuring the shelf edge tickets are correct.
Highlight to every customer “have you seen our great offers today?”
Know the availability of my own departments’ lines from the top 500 lines.
Be responsible for correctly implementing procedures to reduce any loss to the business.
Understand our company promotion cycles and I am able to effectively communicate the great deals to our customers.
Offer own brand alternatives when appropriate.
How do I improve customer satisfaction?
Always deliver fantastic customer service (PRIDE).
Acknowledge every customer with a smile, eye contact and a “good morning / afternoon /evening”.
Respond to till calls immediately and in the event of a queue I apologise and assure customers they will be dealt with quickly.
Know the layout of the store; I take the customer to the product and ask “is there anything else I can help you with?”
Own the problem, if unable to solve the issue I find someone who can help.
Acknowledge and react positively to customer feedback.
Always ensure that I process customers through the checkouts as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Offer the customer assistance in taking items to their vehicle.
How do I work to company standards?
Will have a tidy appearance, wearing my name badge, and my uniform will be clean.
Be accountable for the safety and welfare of my customers, colleagues and visitors at all times.
Carry out administrative tasks within the department to ensure we are always fully compliant.
Always follow the Health, Safe and Legal principles in store to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Ensure that all Health, Safe and Legal statutory and company regulations are followed.
Keep up to date with the latest information on products and ranges we stock by maintaining accurate planograms.
