I am currently recruiting for a superb job opportunity to join a National IFA in their successful and expanding Nottingham office. The opportunity will be to join the established administrative team providing full admin support duties to the Independent Financial Advisors within the office.
The role will be varied and will utilise all the skills you have gained in a similar IFA/Wealth Management administrative support role
You will provide support across all areas of financial advice although the main areas of business that you will deal with will be pensions and investments, and so knowledge and experience in this area is an absolute must..
The role will involve but will not be restricted to:
Processing new business and new schemesLiaising directly with clients, either by telephone or in writingPreparing pension and investment portfolio valuationsAdministering a portfolio of pension schemes (starters/leavers/payments and reviews)Dealing with requests and enquiries from ConsultantsDealing with fees and commissions
The successful applicant will have a solid understanding of processing new business for pensions and investments and have an understanding of employee benefits and group risk administration. You will ideally have experience working with 1st Adviser Office although this is not a necessity depending on skill levels. Also having a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of IT applications will be required.
Individuals with FPC qualifications (or equivalent) would be preferred but again if you can demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience then it is not a necessity.
