Using their graphic design expertise, the Design Manager will draw on their knowledge of customer trends, retail operations and project management experience, to identify solutions for retail design projects - from individual pieces of equipment or signage through to the creation of new departments.
Key responsibilities will include management of design projects from concept to brief and implementation, management of key stakeholder relationships, suppliers and design agencies.
You will be expected to inspire and drive innovation, identify graphic design opportunities through customer insight and deliver the right solutions, on time and that meet set Design KPIs
Working with a range of information, insights and feedback to ensure the design projects achieve a balance across different KPIs, and working within established brand guidelines to shape the content of project
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable ability to produce and communicate through sketches and other creative media. Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, you will also have extensive knowledge of retail (food and non food). You will have experience (either agency or in-house) in developing and delivering creative graphics, signage and branding projects, probably have a degree or similar design qualification retail design, industrial/interior/product or graphic design
