The Acute Coronary Syndrome Nurse will be based at King George Hospital and be responsible for the acute cardiac pathway working with a/e and BLT to ensure patients receive the optimum cardiac care. We are looking to recruit a Nurse Specialist to support the service.

You will co-ordinate the service to ensure that protocols and pathways are followed for acute cardiac patients. Working closely with medical staff, you will assist in the assessment of patients and provision of specialist advice for patients with coronary heart disease. You must have-

  • Post registration qualification within cardiology
  • Substantial and recent post registration experience
  • Effective communication and organisational skills
