Our clients are seeking UK or Irish trained Audiologist who are interested in relocating to New Zealand.
You must be competent in all treatment options including hearing aids, assistive listening devices and counselling and education in listening skills. You will also be able to provide great follow up services to monitor audiological status enabling the appropriate management decisions to be made for the patient.
Standard assessments provides no problem for you, preferably you will also have experience in more complex assessments including: Auditory evoked potentials, otoacoustic emission testing, assessment and management of tinnitus, tests of central auditory processing ability and vestibular testing. You will also work closely with ENT and Otolaryngology services
You may have public sector experience where you have been based in an outpatient department or you may have private practice experience. The contact you have had with patients has equipped you well to manage caseloads of patients from neonates to the elderly.
It is essential that you have a 2 year Masters Degree in Audiology to be considered and be eligible for Full Membership with the New Zealand Audiological Society.
