The successful candidate will primarily be based in Malvern, Worcestershire. However, occasional UK & Overseas travel will be required.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a breadth of engineering knowledge, ideally covering the following areas:
Structured requirements analysis and capture
Preparation of specifications/technical proposals
Complete system integration, testing and maintenance activities
Networks and Communications system design
Windows and Linux Operating System installations
Ideally SC or DV cleared.
Basic Qualifications:
The role would suit a Systems Engineer with at least 7 years experience in Systems Engineering.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of Project Management principles and practices along with a breadth of engineering knowledge and must be proficient using PC-based project management tools, i.e. DOORS, MS Project and other MS Office applications, such as Excel/Word.
In addition the candidate should be technically competent, able to communicate effectively with internal/external customers and senior management in a confident and professional manner.
The candidate must also be a positive, strong-minded self-starter with motivational drive to assimilate complex information and overcome problems quickly to produce innovative system solutions.
Experience in Electronics/EW/Radar/Reconnaissance or Communications system design is desirable.
