As a Business Development Manager you will be repsonsible for selling the benefits of AXA’s range of Pension and Investment products alongside an Architas Investment solution, integrating the Elevate wrap as their sole or preferred wrap solution.
The purpose of this job is to promote and sell the AXA Wealth product range to designated IFAs in order to achieve or exceed NBI and penetration targets, within an agreed territory
Main accountabilities are to:
Manage and proactively develop a panel of targeted accounts within the region and generate NBI/NBV in line with agreed targets.
Develop and agree a personal business plan for designated accounts, consistent with relevant area objectives, in order to deliver agreed NBI and penetration targets.
Deliver and document sales activities in line with agreed business plan
Apply market knowledge to identify and focus activity on contacts which deliver high volume and value to AXA Wealth
Identify and build relationships with IFAs, leveraging this network to the commercial advantage of AXA Wealth
Identify and act on opportunities for cross-selling
Maintain product and industry knowledge by proactive research, feeding back appropriately.
Operate within agreed budgets
Maintain full understanding of the regulatory and compliance procedures that may impact your area of the business.
Understand whether our products and services are being used in the way they were targeted.
Concerns about how distributor is treating customer fairly (unusual IFA behaviour or doubtful transactions) is acted on as appropriate - evidence of these actions are recorded
Knowledge and Qualifications
Intermediary sales experience in the financial services environment and a proven track record of delivering sales targets.
Strong relationship development and management skills.
Current knowledge of the IFA market and competitor offerings.
The Certificate of Financial Planning is a minimum requirement.
