Reporting to: Sr. Director, Global Inbound/Outbound / International

Major Responsibiity
As part of this objective, responsibility will entail to develop, manage and oversee the European/Israel GSA (General Sales Agent) network to maximize all outbound business. Determining the best business partner for each market, market share growth and account gains will be key to this individual’s mission and will have to work hand-in-hand with the sales organization within HEL.
Develop and oversee the European/Israel GSA network, working with each GSAs organization to ensure all outbound business is fully exploited
Identify and implement new sources of outbound business on the retail, trade, direct and partnership sectors, working closely with GSA network, marketing and sales organization
Tasked with evaluating existing GSA network, identifying weaknesses and recommending business partner changes and growth opportunities
Develop annual BP and TP targets by GSA territory for source/destination outbound business
Create plan of attack in coordination with GSA and liaise with Sales CoE to identify outbound opportunities as well as, ensure key accounts work with Hertz
Increase outbound market share in both trade and consumer direct business (where applicable), with special focus on trade
Work closely with Director, International Marketing to ensure GSA marketing plans are aligned with CoE strategic objectives
Work with recipient markets (US, Canada, Asia, ME, China & Pan-Euro) to ensure strategy of pricing and fleet are aligned and conducive to inbound business
Budgets permitting, introduce sharing of best practices by hosting a regional GSA meeting
Should have autonomy to recommend strategy, contract negotiations, expenditure and GSA replacement if necessary. Authority over GSA network, as the network is an extension of the sales & marketing force in Europe

Educational Background:
Bachelor degree preferred but will consider equivalent work experience

Professional Experience:
At least five years of Travel Industry Sales & Marketing experience required

Highly accomplished international marketing and sales professional with experience
providing increasing levels of leadership in sales, network management and marketing
Skilled in strategy and implementation; able to prioritize effectively, multi-task and exceed objectives

Knows how to meet deadlines, manage spending and control costs.
Must be able to work well under high levels of stress and manage high-level negotiations
Persistent and focused individual. Out of the box thinker
Drive and passion are also a must
Must be able to make high level decisions on the fly
