The operation is dynamic and fast moving and consequently there is a constant search for talent to join this highly successful team.
With volumes growing there is now a specific requirement for additional Operations Managers. Working on a shift basis and managing a team of Shift Managers and Team Leaders, you will take responsibility for all fulfilment activities within the centre and focusing on continuous improvements ensure that customer service and employee performance are at an optimum. The role necessitates an individual with experience of large scale, fashion based or fmcg fulfilment operations with demanding customer service levels, rapid response times and an ever changing product portfolio. You will be used to producing timely KPI’s, managing H&S, and working closely with a resource planning team and using a modern day W.M.S.
Essentially, the candidates we seek will have proven man-management and development skills and understand the challenges of managing a dynamic operation. In fact your ability to lead and inspire confidence in a large team will be an important attribute within this role as you will be taking responsibility for staff from operator to Shift Manager level; training, mentoring and motivating them to achieve their full potential. Previous budgetary control experience is essential to the role as is labour forecasting, performance management and planning and scheduling of fulfilment activities. Previous experience of Red Prairie w.m.s. would be a distinct advantage along with the ability to proactively develop the operation..
