My client is a long established and highly regarded Private Client practice and one of a very few firms to have been awarded the Law Society's LEXCEL accreditation. They are also accredited Investors in People and accredited suppliers of publicly funded legal services, as well as a member of the UK 200 Group, the foremost mutual association of quality assured independent accountants and lawyers serving the SME business sector with over 110 member firms in over 55 locations in 30 countries.
My client enjoys a growing reputation amongst business advisors for their Company and Commercial work. The Company and Commercial team provide expert advice and guidance on purchases and sales of businesses; Director and shareholder disputes; Shareholder Agreements; Partnership and LLP Agreements; Tax Planning, Wills and Inheritance; Investigation by Government Agencies; and the purchase and sales of business premises and acts for a wide range of small and medium sized enterprises throughout Essex and beyond.
Due to expansion, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Solicitor with circa 5 years PQE for their Company and Commercial Department. The ideal candidate will also have some Commercial and Residential Property experience, although Commercial Property experience is more valuable in this case.
This position will lead quickly to Head of Department status and then later to Partner status for the right candidate and offers a competitive market salary plus excellent benefits, as well as a relaxed and friendly working environment and a choice of two working locations (Witham or Maldon in Essex). All offices have disabled access and free car parking.
