We are seeking to recruit Band 5 staff nurses to the 14 bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
The unit offer the opportunity to actively participate in critical care issues at Trust, Network and National level.
A varied case mix and a commitment to developing our roles in a visionary manner make this an excellent opportunity to gain a rewarding new role in critical care within a supportive and friendly environment.
As a Band 5 Staff Nurse you will ideally have a period of relevant post- registration experience in an acute area.
You will be required to provide a high standard of individualised care to the patient, in accordance with agreed policies and within available resources, and to demonstrate the aptitude to work in highly pressurised situations with maturity, motivation, enthusiasm and common sense.
You will be committed to working flexibly, and in collaboration with the established team to develop your critical care skills in order to become a skilled member of a nursing team which cares for critically ill patients in a highly complex and challenging environment.
