Rolls-Royce has enabled land-speed records, designed ships that can shatter sheets of Arctic ice and developed turbines that generate power wherever the world needs it. On land, at sea and in the air, we provide integrated power systems that redefine what’s possible. How do we do it? There’s a certain mindset that all our people share. A relentless desire to make things work better – to redefine the standards everyone else lives by.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll design, develop and implement tailor-made support solutions and inspection procedures for nuclear plants. We’ll also depend on you to interpret customer requirements and develop cost effective design solutions to meet them. In addition, you’ll plan, implement and report development and validation trials to support new designs.
You’ll also need to be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline, and be ready to build on our heritage by challenging us and creating our future. A willingness to travel and membership of a professional body (or a commitment to achieving this) would also be advantageous.
