We are looking for a Helpline Information Officer to join our Stroke Information Services team to provide information and support to stroke survivors, their families, carers, professionals and other members of the public.
You will have experience of providing support to people in a helpline or information setting. Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills are essential. You will be a competent IT user and able to carry out research to provide high quality information to a range of audiences. You will be able to cope with pressure, manage your time effectively and work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. You will be effective at using your initiative and working both independently and collaboratively with a team. Ideally, you will have some understanding of stroke and of disability, health and social care, though we will provide training.
