LOCATION: Worthing, West Sussex

SALARY: £14,000 per annum pro rata (to be reviewed after three months).

HOURS OF WORK: 8.45am-6.00pm

DURATION: Three months with the potential for a permanent role after three months on £18,000 per annum


Roundweb is part of Future Planned Ltd and is a fresh and creative marketing agency based in Worthing, West Sussex. We look into your industry fields and research how we can further the aims of our client companies. From our research we develop an action plan of how we will approach building a company’s online presence. We now have an opening for an SEO Engineer to join our team.

Supporting the SEO and Social department
Reporting to the Directors
Produce and manage keyword research, technical, content, link and social audits
Make recommendations regarding optimisation
Guide and partake in offsite activity
Help manage activity and processes required to effectively run SEO and Social campaigns
Increasing your own and the business’s knowledge in the field of SEO and Social Media
Analysing the performance of our sites, identifying opportunities, facilitating change in order to hit and exceed our targeted KPIs
Continually learning the industry trends and all applicable technologies, including developments in SEO, social media, analytics, online marketing.

Training will be ongoing with a mentor who works in our digital marketing agency, along with weekly online tutorials we subscribe to.

A good knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in running SEO
(including PHP/ HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
A specific interest in digital marketing, SEO and Social campaigns.
A good understanding of Google analytics and other web analytics.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
A knowledge of the use of Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, SEO Moz, Open Site Explorer and other key industry tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines both in a team and individually.
Basic understanding of algorithms and recent updates across the search engines
Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
