At Jaguar Land Rover, our vehicles are the final word in quality. Craftsmanship and technique are evident in every detail, inside and out. To achieve a level of finish like this, we’ve had to develop manufacturing processes that are among the industry’s very best. In three plants across the UK, we manufacture a wide variety of world-class vehicles – combining cutting edge techniques and materials with robust, tried and tested procedures to deliver end results that meet and exceed our customers’ highest expectations.
But no matter how good our processes and techniques are, they can always be better. How? That’s for you to tell us.
Managing a specific area of production in one of our plant, you’ll be challenged to implement innovative operational processes to drive continuous improvements every day. From maximising safety and quality to reducing costs, you’ll bring the vision and leadership that will ensure volume targets are always achieved, and production development is fully supported. Driving cutting edge constraint analysis and problem solving techniques, you’ll thrive in this fast-paced environment. Quite simply, you’ll be instrumental in the production of the next generation of luxury vehicles and the generation of profitable growth.
A Six Sigma Blackbelt / Greenbelt with a relevant degree qualification, you have an impressive track record in manufacturing management and production planning / scheduling. You demonstrate a process driven approach with experience of lean manufacturing and problem solving tools. Naturally, you’ll be a skilled builder of relationships at all levels, with a proven ability to manage teams and suppliers.
