Humana is currently working with one of Europe’s fastest growing Electrical Distribution System (EDS) suppliers based within the Midlands. The company’s electrical and electronic division are experiencing impressive growth and as a result an opportunity for Program Manager is now available.

As Program Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of electrical and electronic systems for world-leading automotive OEM manufacturers. This will mean that you will be the CEO of your program and take ownership for the entire program and all its deliverables. This includes delivering a robust design in time and quality to a cost target. Each program contributes to multi-million dollar annual sales for the company and therefore critical for the future success of the business.

This will require you to work as part of a cross functional team interfacing with the engineering, commercial and quality departments which will be reporting directly to you on program issues. The Program Manager along with Program Director will also be a major interface to the customer and is presenting the program status in senior internal and external program reviews.

The management team are keen to find someone who will fit well within the existing team so the person must be a self-motivated with the ability to motivate and communicate with all team members.

Ideally you will have experience in electrical distribution systems (EDS) or electronic systems development and manufacture. A proven track record in managing projects or programs is expected. Experience in managing a product development, launch or even maintenance project for an automotive OEM on behalf of a Tier One supplier is highly preferred.

A competitive package is on offer for the right candidate including a basic of up to £50,000 or circa £35-38 per hour for a contractor dependant on the experience and calibre of individual.
