We work with secondary schools that are looking to recruit experienced D&T / design and technology teaching staff and all of our schools will provide rewarding job opportunities for flexible, qualified teachers.
You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils, you will need to be confident in teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4, as well as being able to work as part of a teaching team and in line with their strategies and policies. You must have QTS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher, and have experience with teaching in the UK Curriculum.
To be considered for D&T / design & technology teaching positions in Sussex, one must have:
Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
Relevant experience teaching Key Stage 3/4/5
Excellent Subject Knowledge
Excellent Classroom Management
A passion for teaching D&T / design & technology and a positive attitude
We are looking for passionate D&T / design & technology teachers, with a positive attitude, who are committed to high quality teaching. You need to be flexible, versatile and resourceful with an ability to think on the spot and have good behaviour management skills. Successful candidates will be able to competently and confidently deliver lessons fulfilling the requirements of the UK National Curriculum, and be willing to contribute to additional responsibilities and extra-curricular activities.
