As an Assistant Buyer you will provide support to the Junior Buyer and the Buyer in sourcing and delivering products, overseeing the fitting and sealing of samples. Developing good relationships with current suppliers and negotiating cost price and delivery dates with suppliers will be essential in your area. You will also oversee the development and training of the Buyers Administrator within the team
As an Assistant Buyer you will provide support to the Buyer in sourcing new brands as well as trading existing brands within the season to potentialize sales and profit. Developing good relationships with current brands alongside negotiating buying terms and delivery window dates will be essential in your area. You will also oversee the development and training of the Buyers Administrator within the team.

Some skills you will need
• Relevant experience as a Assistant Buyer in fashion retail (ideally on Brands)
• A creative eye to be able to drive trends
• Ability to manage and develop an assistant
• Able to effectively prioritise workload
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues, suppliers and others at all levels.
• Confident and highly motivated
• Demonstration of a commercial aptitude in decision making
