Our Client is a full service private practice law firm with a number of offices around the UK, now due to expansion a further Legal Secretary is required.
A fantastic new position has now become available for a Legal Secretary to work within their Southampton office on a full-time basis as a "Float" within their busy and expanding departments.
In this role as Legal Secretary you will be working within a team assisting Partners and Fee earners to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the busy departments. Responsibilities will include audio typing, client communication, diary and event management, file management and related administration duties.
Audio typing speeds of 65 wpm minimum are required together with digital dictation and case management experience ideally. Good IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel are also required.
This position would suit an experienced Legal Secretary with great communication skills and an flexible approach who is used to working under pressure and with a strong eye for detail. A professional approach, great communication skills and strong team working skills are all key attributes for this role. Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary within Personal Injury, Litigation or related legal departments is required together with a stable and consistent work history.
