Our client is a leading player within private client fund management with offices across the UK . Due to a recent promotion they are recruiting an experienced Assistant Investment Manager to join their busy office. It is important that you will hit the ground running and will hopefully be able to get involved in all of the following responsibilities.
These will include:
Liaison with the Investment Director to resolve client enquiries
Communicating with clients and professional contacts effectively
Producing reports on client accounts for IFA business
Carrying out transactions on behalf of the Investment Director using the dealing desk.
Re-balancing client portfolios
Reviewing client portfolios with research recommendations
Completing capital gains tax planning for clients
Producing valuation reports
Successful candidates will possess an understanding of the financial markets with previous financial services experience essential and an emphasis on investment management preferred. A Certificate in Investments or Certificate in Securities qualifications is also preferred. You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to build strong relationships and deal with client queries effectively whilst demonstrating excellent time management and prioritisation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for when liaising with clients and other departments.
