We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Healthcare
Assistant to join our friendly care team. You will provide a high
standard of holistic, hands on care, assisting with personal care,
serving food and feeding where necessary, washing and assisting
with dressing. Other duties include arranging and escorting
members on trips, administering medication, assisting with writing
and reading personal correspondence. In addition, you will be
required to risk assess, write care plans and daily care notes,
evaluate the care delivered and liaise with other medical
Full time day shifts will consist of working two 6.45 hours
shifts and two 12 hours shifts per week. Night duties consist
of working four 10.5 hour shifts one week and three 10.5 hour
shifts the following week.
You'll have effective communication and interpersonal
skills. Previous care experience is preferred and candidates
must have a good understanding of the role and responsibilities of
a Health Care Assistant. A Diploma Level 2 in Health and
Social Care or equivalent is preferred, but a willingness to work
towards the qualification is essential.
This position will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
