We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our staff at Tibshelf Infant and Nursery School.
We are an outstanding, happy, nurturing school with a commitment to achieving the highest possible standards of attainment and behaviour for all our children.
This position is a permanent full time position to start from September 2013, and initially the successful applicant will be working as part of our Key Stage 1 team. The successful candidate would be able to start at the beginning of the new academic year if available.
The person appointed will have high expectations of learners, excellent classroom practice, the ability to work as a team member, and some experience of teaching in the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. This post would be highly suitable for a teacher with several years teaching experience in Key Stage 1, and someone with records of consistently teaching good and outstanding lessons.
We want someone with a positive approach who is creative and firmly focused on maximising the progress of pupils. A commitment to a personalised approach to learning and the ability to create a vibrant and exciting learning environment is essential.
Interviews will be held over several days; giving successful applicants the opportunity to spend half a day in school completing practical tasks (including a teaching session), prior to being called for a more formal interview with Governors. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed by prior appointment with the Headteacher. Please telephone 01773 872571.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
