We are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to join a well regarded laboratory in the East Midlands.
In this diverse lab-based position you will provide a high quality service analysing a variety of sample types for traces of small molecule compounds. You will work hands-on with broad range of instruments including HPLC, GC, LC-MS and LC-MS/MS, as well as applying different wet chemistry and sample extraction techniques.
Successful candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years (or equivalent) experience in the quantitative analysis of small molecules by LC-MS and/or GC-MS. Previous experience optimising and/or developing analytical methods within a regulated laboratory would be highly beneficial.
This role is offered on an initial 12 month contact. This may potentially lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
