We are looking to strengthen the Rolls-Royce Purchasing team in the UK and are currently seeking a number of Buyers across multiple commodities/categories.
We are looking for experienced buyers to join us to develop and implement global external commodity strategies whilst driving long term improvements in quality, cost and delivery for your designated suppliers.
You will be responsible for the sourcing and purchasing activity for your commodity, which could include raw materials, forgings, castings or machined components across the different Rolls-Royce Business units. You will also be instrumental in ensuring that your suppliers have the required capability and capacity to meet the requirements of Rolls-Royce's growing order book.
Qualifications and experience
You will have CIPS, a degree or equivalent in business, engineering or supply chain management. You will demonstrate a global outlook and be passionate about using positive supplier relationships to drive performance to deliver results. You will be able to demonstrate excellent influencing and communication skills with an understanding of manufacturing processes, lean techniques and the factors which drive supply chain total cost.
