Project/Program Manager - VP - Based in Bournemouth
This role is within the change management function of the Core Components and Architecture group. This group is responsible for driving strategy and architecture standards across the Corporate Investment Banks Core Processing group. The team is currently underway with a multi year change transformation program. The role will be a project management role reporting to the program manager.

Consults with businesses to effectively drive business strategies forward through the optimal use of technology.
Role Specific Responsibilities:
Project management role within an end to end the multi-year Architecture transformation program of delivery for Core Processing. Accountable to program lead.
Excellence in Program/Project management and all facets of Issue/Risk and Dependency management, working in an Agile operating model.
Excellence in all forms of Communication.
Ability to run and influence matrix managed teams and act as a 'consultant' to driving change transformation.
Able to work in an ambiguous environment, define strategy and be a self starter
Communicates business priorities to the technology organization accordingly, in order to drive effective business solutions.
Researches to determine if solutions to business needs currently exist within or outside the business unit, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible.
Documents business requirements, and communicates these requirements to the development team for the design and implementation of business solutions.
Provides input, on occasion, to the development of formal business cases when enterprise-wide business solutions are proposed.
Contributes a business or process perspective during design reviews and can be a contributor toward strategy definition and change implementation.
Work with program leaders to define product strategy, objectives, requirements and priorities and then be accountable to drive strategy with technology and business partners.
Serve as key communication and coordination point across multiple teams involved in the program, across technology and operations at all levels.
Contribute to and drive resolution or escalation to resolve issues that occur during the program lifecycle.
Ensure the program plans clearly demonstrate when deliverables will meet product objectives.
Contribute to program planning and management to ensure plans are in place and are being executed against to meet the deliverables in agreed timeframes.
Oversee the Program budget to ensure deliverables are met within agreed budgets.
Contributes to continuous improvement.
Proactively supports knowledge sharing within the team and across IB and/or Core Processing Technology.
Experience in managing programs related to lifecycle re-engineering, specifically moving from a waterfall methodology to agile.
Requires experience/understanding of business process reengineering, business/data modeling concepts and information architecture.
Requires basic understanding of the company's business practices, and familiarity with the company's products and services.
