Guest Room Cleaner for Travelodge

As a Team Member with Travelodge your main priority will be to make our customers feel warm & welcome during their stay. We are known for providing excellent customer service and if you would like to join our team keeping the customer happy must be the most important thing to you too.

Clean & fresh rooms are why our customers stay with us. It’s up to you to make sure that their expectations are met by delivering “The Perfect Room”

This post is up to 30 hours per week – we are looking for people who can work across a typical 7am to 3pm working pattern with flexibility up to 5pm. Weekend working is essential to this role. Main duties: · Keeping customers happy will be the most important thing to you.
· Be friendly and helpful at all times.
· Listen to our customers and be happy to help with any queries they might have. If you can’t help, you’ll find someone who can.
· Work together with your colleagues to make sure that our customers enjoy their stay.
· Clean our bedrooms and public areas to Company standards within our timescales on a daily basis and carry out other deep cleaning duties on a weekly/monthly basis.
· Keep the linen room clean, tidy and correctly stocked.
· Follow our procedures, when dealing with linen, security, keys, lost property and stock.
· Keep yourself, the team and our customers’ safe – and be aware of any potential problems.
· Keep your line manager up-to-date with maintenance, service or equipment issues and follow these up.
· Look after yourself and others – make sure you follow instructions for health and fire, cleaning products, manual handling and food hygiene.
· Treat your colleagues in a fair and friendly way.
· To be part of the team and help out with adhoc duties where needed.
· Maintaining overall cleaning standards.
