this role: To
assist the Senior Ranger and Rangers to maintain, protect and conserve Ashtead
Common and to inform and support the people and communities that interact with
it.Evening

The following requirements must be highlighted on your CV itself and NOT in a covering
letter: UK working experienceAvailability to work CV
should state either immediate
or at short noticeYou must be studying for, or
already hold, an appropriate qualification (degree, diploma or NVQ) in
countryside management or other land-based subjectMinimum of 12 months recent office administration
experience, preferably within a similar role and ideally within a public
sector organisationYou must be over 18 years old
and hold a full driving licenceYou should have good
communication skills to deal with the colleagues, volunteers and visitors
to the open spacesExperience of undertaking
practical conservation work.Experience of active volunteer
work either with a charity or organisations that promote an interest in
wildlife, or conservation.Experience of dealing with
members of the public in either the voluntary, public service or retail
sector.A demonstrable ability to
establish and sustain good working relationships within a team environment
and the ability and initiative to work aloneOther

All of our roles are technically temporary, though opening assignments can
be and often are, extended by clients on a longer term basis. This opening
assignment is for 2-3 months.Hours per week: 37 Monday Friday,
