An opportunity exists for an Assistant Manager to work in our corporate audit and advisory team within our South West & Wales practice. This role can be based from the Bristol or the Cardiff office.

The role
Leading teams on challenging engagements. This includes audit, transaction and project work.
Developing and mentoring junior members of staff.
Working within a team on a local and firm wide level.
Building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Planning and completing a wide range of assignments.
Technical & personal skills:
A self starter - able to work autonomously without the need for day to day direct management.
A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering client solutions.
Enthusiastic and driven.
Educated to degree level or relevant experience.
Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting frameworks and auditing frameworks such as clarity ISAs.
A professional accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent).
Demonstrated, strong analytical skills and organisational abilities.
Strong career and academic record.
Desire for continuous improvement.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Well developed questioning techniques.
Planning and project management skills.
Proven experience of establishing and maintaining strong working relationships.
