St Mary's NHS Treatment Centre have a new opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join its multidisciplinary team.
We are looking to employ a candidate who will assist a quality nurse led service to patients attending the centre.
St Mary's Treatment Centre is located within the grounds of the St Mary's hospital site in Portsmouth. Purpose built in 2005 the facility provides NHS treatment to all attending NHS patients.

Key Responsibilities
The purpose of the job is to manage the day to day case workload allocated within the day surgery area.
The nurse provides the necessary professional and clinical practice support for the team and peers.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will:
Delivers patient focussed care which includes; assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care in line with Care UK’s model of care. This requires the position to have highly developed acute nursing and technical skills pertinent to the specialist area.
Participates in a rotation throughout all of the day surgery areas of pre-assessment, pre and post op, endoscopy and theatres.
Be aware of the applicable National Minimum Standards in relation to the Healthcare Commission’s annual inspection. This includes knowledge of specific departmental policies.
