Job Purpose:
An exciting opportunity for an e-Commerce Trading Assistant to join our Head Office team in Chiswick has arisen. The role will support the e-Commerce Trading Manager in co-ordinating the online strategy, maximising sales and profit through advanced reporting, daily analysis of performance and the execution of strategic promotional activity.

Job Dimensions:
• Develop an understanding of key performance indicators relating to sales, margin, traffic, conversion and average order value (AOV) to drive online revenue and profitability
• Use reporting systems and analytical tools to review online performance against targets, provide insight and maximise revenue potential
• Liaise with buying and merchandising, ecommerce and marketing to ensure marketing activity is aligned with trading objectives

Job Objectives:
• Produce and compile weekly and monthly reporting packs
• Daily analysis of online performance, reviewing sales and margin against targets
• Understanding of key online performance drivers and metrics, including traffic, conversion and average order value (AOV)
• Assist in producing monthly reports and presentations for the Board
• Produce custom analysis and collate data from multiple sources to generate dynamic reports
• Assist in the planning of sales and margin budgets by family of business
• Forecast implications of promotional and markdown activity on sales, orders & profit
• Monitor performance of promotional and marketing activity
• Update and maintain trading calendar to align marketing activity with budget phasing
• Liaise with Online Merchandising team to support buying strategy and online buys, understanding impact of stock availability and suggesting solutions for slow sellers
• Liaise with Press, Content and E-commerce teams to support trading objectives through marketing campaigns and features
• Regularly monitor competitors for promotional and discounting activity, category and brand mix, price comparison, and search volumes

Qualifications & Experience required:
• Graduate
• Significant commercial experienced gained in a fashion retail merchandising environment (ideally luxury, multi-brand)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills - highly proficient in Excel
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Google Analytics
• Business acumen and commercial focus

• Strong commercial awareness
• A proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to work to strict deadlines
• Highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Sound knowledge of luxury fashion, designers and brands
