With the increasing appeal of events in unique settings, it's not surprising to hear of our success here at Alton Towers. And as our new Assistant Conference & Event Manager, you'll certainly have your hands full. Looking after our Conference, Banqueting and Bar facilities, you'll oversee everything from training to the lighting in our venues. More specifically, you'll make sure all catering complies with hotel, company and government regulations, keep up to date with menus, greet guests and make sure all departments have a good level of communication. And all this while creating an open, but controlled environment for every member of your team.
About You
To meet the requirements of a world class resort, you'll:
Be experienced in conference and banqueting to supervisory level
Apply your extensive knowledge of the catering industry
Encourage new ideas from your team
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Employ impeccable time management skills.
