EDUCATION PEOPLE are looking for a TRAINEE EDUCATION RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT to join our team in our central Bristol office (near Temple Meads train station)

The role as a recruitment consultant is all about building and nurturing relationships with clients, generating business and developing a candidate base, You will be working in an office environment and on phones dealing with candidate and clients on a daily basis. This is a fast paced, energetic environment and not for the faint hearted! If you like a challenge and not scared to pick up the phone then this could be just the job for you. As well as sales over the phone, you will be expected to visit the schools one day per week (so own transport required on this day)
We are offering a basic salary of £15k- £20k OTE £25K first year. The holiday is a generous 25 days + stat per year and we offer reduced working hours in the school holidays.
You will also be responsible for growing your candidate base by placing adverts for teachers, conducting interviews and matching teachers to schools.
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you will have full autonomy of your Primary desk, you will need to be hardworking, professional and highly organised with excellent prioritising skills. The role is challenging and you will be working long hours, but it is a varied role which provides great rewards -financially and job satisfaction when you place your candidates into bookings.
The Primary desk is already running and we need a hard working ‘go getter’ to drive the business forward.
In return, as Trainee Recruitment Consultant we pay a basic salary of £15,000 - £20,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus an excellent commission structure.
Candidates MUST have at least 3 months sales experience or have worked in sales driven environment,
The role is to progress to a senior consultant and then we will be looking to grow the team, so you will be in charge of managing a team of your own as soon as you have grown the business to the level we require. A Degree and/or a strong academic background including A-levels essential.
