Further to Everatt & Company's recent announcement that it is to merge with Plexus Law we are looking to recruit into our national and leading Defendant Insurance Team. Defendant Insurance work is the firm's core practice area, we specialise in the provision of advice to a broad cross section of clients, including Local Authorities, Insurers, NHS Trusts, Care Homes and both Charitable and Commercial organisations in the following areas; EL/PL, Motor (RTA), catastrophic injury, HSE actions, Inquests, asbestos related claims, Travel Litigation and work related stress claims.
Due to our continued success our Motor, EL/PL and Disease teams continue to grow and we are eager to expand these dynamic and dedicated teams with like minded professionals wishing to progress their career. On this basis we currently seek to recruit Paralegals / Trainee Legal Assistants to be based at our Evesham Office. The following criteria will be considered as part of the recruitment process:
A strong academic background from GCSE (or equivalent) - Degree (ideally 2.1 or above gained with a respected University);
The desire to exceed the expectations of clients through building strong relationships;
The ability to work as part of a team in a constantly changing environment;
A desire to consistently excel in the achievement of business goals;
The ability to work as part of a high performing team to meet agreed targets and objectives without compromising risks; and
An interest in business development and marketing, including, presentations, pitches and participation in team seminars.
Fulfilment of the following criteria would be a distinct advantage:
Experience of EL/PL, Disease, RTA, HSE and related work;
Completion of the LPC; and
Experience of working in a similar post in a reputable law firm, Local Authority or In-house Legal Team.
