Our client is a well respected and rapidly growing IT solutions provider that requires an BI /SSRS Reporting specialist to implement the back office SQL Server reporting framework following a major systems integration.
A large high profile customer is in the latter stages of implementing a enterprise financials software platform and for the next 2 months they require an individual with extensive experience of working on database development/integration projects and establishing SSRS from scratch.
The project will start with analysis and requirements gathering with the customer/provider and all project stakeholder. Reporting specifications & documentation will be developed before embarking on the final stage of the integration which will involve establishing the SSRS to a relatively advanced level athat will provide reporting solutions to exceed customer requirements/expectations.
Experience required will include:
SQL Server 2005/2008 (ideally 2008)
SQL Server Reporting Services
Transact SQL including stored procedures
SQL Query Statement Generation
Excel
VB/VBA
You can be based from either Nottingham or Manchester with infrequent travel between both sites.
We are looking for someone who can start immediately or within a week. 8 week project, good day rate.
