Lead and deliver in a team environment small to large scale supply chain transformation projects to drive major performance improvements for clients
Work closely with client teams to identify business development opportunities
Play a key role in the creation of Points of View on industry and functional areas
Specific activities that would be a part of your responsibility include:
Undertaking SCM Visioning, diagnostic and business process definition engagements, requirement gathering studies, cost of ownership and impact assessment studies
Play a lead role in identifying areas of improvement, defining change areas, defining KPIs and developing mechanisms to track and monitor benefits
Planning and leading multi-disciplinary teams
Handle aspects of program management / project management/change management

Relevant experience of undertaking assignments in any or all of the SCM functional areas (Procurement, Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production, Order management)
Thorough understanding of the consulting process, handle client meetings, draw up solution approaches, present findings and obtain client buy in of the recommended solutions
Ability to communicate effectively through written, oral and visual media
Sound understanding of how retail-specific technologies and systems can be deployed to drive business value for clients
Desired Skills
Experience in SCM and related processes in Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Transportation and Government
Knowledge of technologies - especially applications like i2, Manugistics, SAP, and Oracle
Qualifications
7-10 years of relevant experience of which at least 3 years should be with a reputed consulting organization
Ability to show expertise in process redesign and improvement
Willingness to travel
3-5 years of relevant retail experience
A degree in Business, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering
